Privacy

What this site collects, and what it deliberately does not.

Status of this page

This is a working privacy statement for a site in preparation. It is written to be read and understood rather than to be maximally protective in obscure language. It will be reviewed by a qualified adviser before the site is commercially launched.

What is collected

Analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics about which pages are read and how visitors arrive. This is used to understand which questions the platform is actually failing to answer. It is not used to build profiles, and it is not sold.

Search queries. What is searched for is recorded in aggregate. This is genuinely important to the platform: a search that returns nothing is the clearest possible signal of what to write next. Individual searches are not tied to identities.

What you send us. If you email an enquiry, correction or directory submission, that message and your address are retained so that the conversation can be continued and so that corrections can be traced back to their source.

What is not collected

  • No account is required to read anything on this site.
  • No payment details are collected at this stage.
  • No data is sold, rented or exchanged with advertisers.
  • No cross-site behavioural profiles are built.
  • No third-party advertising or social tracking scripts are loaded.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are run in a privacy-respecting, cookieless configuration, no consent banner is needed because nothing is stored on your device for tracking purposes. If that changes, this page changes first.

Search engines and AI systems

Content on this site is intended to be crawled, indexed and cited, by search engines and by AI retrieval systems alike. Crawler access is described in robots.txt. Being retrievable is the point of the platform, not an incidental side effect — but it applies to the published content, not to anything you send us privately.

Your controls

You can ask what has been retained about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@kubramal.com.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the change is noted at the top of the page with its date. A policy that changes silently is not worth publishing.
