What the content claims, and what it does not

This matters more than the usual terms boilerplate, because of what this platform is. Everything published here is research and reference material, produced to the standard described in the editorial methodology. It is not professional advice, and it is not a substitute for your own verification of a supplier, a price, a specification or a compliance requirement.

Figures carry a data period. A figure that was accurate in its period may not be accurate now. Cost data and trade data both move, and sometimes quickly. Confirm anything commercially significant against the primary source cited on the page.

Directory records

A manufacturer or supplier record describes what was verified at a stated level and on a stated date. It is a description, not a recommendation, and not a guarantee of quality, capacity, price, delivery or compliance. Commercial outcomes are a matter between you and the supplier you choose. Nothing in a record should be read as an endorsement.

Using this material

You may read, quote and cite this material, including in academic, journalistic and commercial work, provided you attribute it and link to the page you used. Quoting a figure without its data period strips it of the thing that made it trustworthy, so please carry the period with the figure.

You may not republish substantial portions wholesale, resell the content or datasets as your own, or use automated means to republish the site's material as a competing corpus.

Datasets

Dataset pages state their coverage, definitions, version and limitations. Use of a dataset without its definitions, or outside the coverage it states, will produce wrong answers — the definitions are part of the dataset, not commentary on it.

Accuracy and corrections

The platform works to a sourcing standard and corrects its errors openly, but it does not warrant that every page is free of error. If you find one, report it: corrections@kubramal.com.
